How can I be THAT competitive
REALLY... How much do windows usually cost? We've arrived at the cost question. I'll speak generally since every project can vary subtly in unforeseen ways. Typically, a white double-hung window can be priced between $800 and several thousand. You might ask, "What kind of answer is this?" Let me clarify. Some companies price their windows low to attract customers, expecting their salesperson to upsell and explain what the advertised price didn't include. This could range from screens, Low-E/Argon treatments, old window disposal, certain types of trimming, prices for windows above a very small size, type/style of window, and other items that customers would expect to be included but the company must charge for to reach a realistic price. On the other end, some companies quote extravagant prices, ranging from $2000 to $5000 per window! They often offer discounts, such as 50% off, 2-for-1, or even 3-for-1 deals, providing various reasons for discounts and then, "calling their manager". In reality, a quality white double-hung window can be installed within the range of $850-$1500. This range still provides a starting point for color, premium glass packages, and some style and size flexibility. Instead of pushing prospective customers into an appointment “just to get in your home and get a price range”, I've included a tentative pricing grid here for you to estimate your project cost. Of course, I'm available for any clarifications as your project becomes a priority. If you see the value in the price you've calculated, (especially if you’ve received some Extremely High proposals from the big advertisers), don't hesitate to email or call me to arrange a visit or phone call to address any questions or concerns. I'll be more than happy to provide clarification and address any issues.you may have.
What We Don't Have That Costs You More Than You Think
At JR Cox Consulting, we don't have an expensive office, office staff, sales personnel, commissions to pay out nor expensive marketing & advertising budgets, all things that will be passed along to you, the customer. Any idea just how much that means? Usually an additional least 25% and many times up to 300% added to YOUR BOTTOM LINE!!! As a side note, recently I've had a client that had a quote for her 20 window home start out at $63,000 from a company you probably get monthly fliers from. They did discount her quote to down to $49,000 after 3 separate discounts.
